Cases related to the corona virus are increasing rapidly in the country. State governments along with the Center are taking appropriate steps to fight this. In this episode, the Gujarat government has prepared a hospital of 2200 beds in just 6 days to take care of corona infected patients. Chief Minister K Vijay Rupani says that better medical facilities are being provided to patients suffering from the corona.

He informed that four special hospitals related to COVID-19 have been started in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, and Vadodara. The government took the decision to build these hospitals a week ago. Four high officials have been entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring these hospitals.

Health Secretary Jayanthi Ravi said that the maximum number of 1200 beds has been arranged in Ahmedabad. This hospital was already ready, there was a preparation to start soon. It is currently being used as a corona hospital.

There is a provision of 40 ICU and 140 beds of General in Special Hospital for COVID-19 in Surat. At the same time, in Vadodara, there are 50 beds in ICU and 200 beds in General, while in Rajkot, there is an arrangement of 40 ICU and 160 beds of General.
